TOKYO – February 1st, 2015 – Metaps Inc. (HQ: Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Katsuaki Sato, hereafter “Metaps”) announced Richard Zheng would join the board to lead Greater China business. Metaps also announced Lou Fei, former Executive Director in charge of Greater China Operations, will be newly in charge of investment and consultation section.   

Metaps is a global company with offices in 8 countries and a mission stating, “Through big-data and computer learning, our aim is to be the world’s brain by empowering people to make smarter decisions.” Now operates 8 locations worldwide and supporting smartphone developer in the global market.

With added responsibility for the Greater China region, Richard Zheng will focus to expand its business in the region. Richard now leads all Greater China offices, Shanghai, Taiwan and Hong Kong to support our clients’ success in the global market. With his leadership, Metaps will keep helping our clients in fast changing, competitive market.

Not only focusing on existing business, investment for new technology is important for a continuous growth of Metaps in mid to long term. Lou Fei will lead the strategic investment and consultation to create new business.

Fei joined McKinsey & Company in 2005, and engaged in a wide range of fields of projects such as high-tech, automotive, and retail. In 2011, as Vice President of DeNA China, he engaged in the development of the mobage platform and contributed to the monetization platform in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Joined Metaps in 2013 and named to board member. He lead development of business in Greater China region. In 2016, his responsibility is extended to investment and consultation of new business.

Richard has more than 5 years of experience in marketing sales and 3 years in management. Prior to Metaps, Richard worked in Mitsubishi Corporation as metal global sales, and Recruit Holding as consulting manager. At Recruit Holding, he achieved 860% of the sales target in 2nd quarter after joining the company, and became the 1st foreign employee to win MVP. Richard then helped form the global sector and again achieved top sales 9 months consecutively. In 2012, Richard moved to BOLE, subsidiary of Recruit in China, built up the Japan Desk, and managed its business to turn a profit in six months. He joined Metaps in 2013 and successfully led Shanghai Office. In 2016, Richard was named as a board and will succeed Lou Fei as a Executive Director in charge of Greater China Operations.
