Metaps, Inc. (“Metaps”) acquired 51% stake in Metaps & Luminous Media International Corporation (“Metaps & Luminous”) to enhance the capabilities of Metaps group in Taiwan and further strengthen its business competitiveness in Greater China.

Greater China’s mobile gaming market, one of Metaps’ core business area, has been rapidly growing in recent years. In order to survive competition in this growing market where customer needs have been diversified, a company would have to offer customized products combining existing services and other products such as offline marketing, promotion event or digital marketing.

Luminous group is a Taiwan-based media company with a high quality media network. It owns a landmark large advertising screen in Ximending, one of the most popular shopping districts in Taiwan, and also act as an advertising agency of several overseas media contents (such as “AXN” or “Animax”) and CRH, high-speed railway service in China. It also has an edge of digital marketing business (such as Facebook, YouTube and LINE).

With the completion of this investment, Metaps will be able to provide a full line of marketing services to both existing and new customers and enlarge the revenue stream.
